Tables Stats Query

A new query has been added, to give the row count and the last date, for each of the main tables. In addition, the switchboards have been reorganised, and the Tables table modified. There has also been some tidying up of the code.
Amazon Picking List

A Yes/No (Boolean) column called picked has been added to the Amazon table. Users should add this column to the table in Data.mdb manually. A new view called Amazon Picking List has also been added. This is similar to the eBay Picking List, which has been renamed. The switchboards have been modified accordingly.
Note that the Amazon Picking List is a parameterised query. When the query is run, the user is prompted to enter a Start Date (see above). This is the date from which the picking list should begin.
Other Changes
Redundant Tables Removed
Two unlinked tables called Problems and Categories, have been removed from Data.mdb. This of course is optional.

I have added a short user manual to the Trader download.
Welcome to my blog. I will post any news about the Trader database here.
I posted an announcement on the PS board last night, and there was much more interest than I thought there would be.
I am currently working on a user manual.
The upgrade of the Dell Axim X50 to Windows Mobile 5.0 means that it requires ActiveSync 4.1 or higher. The version of ActiveSync on the installation CDs is only 3.7, which will have to be upgraded.
The current version of ActiveSync is 4.5, and it cal be downloaded form the Microsoft web site.
These cradles are proving fragile, due to a design fault. If they break in transit, we will replace them with cables. These do the same job as the cradles, but are more robust. The broken cradles can still be used as battery chargers.
I cannot recommend this stuff highly enough. There is nothing like it for cleaning a PDA. I used it the other day, to remove a huge lump of glue from a battery cover, and it worked a treat.
We will not be able to go to the post office today, because of heavy snow in our area.
We stopped using PayPal at the end of last year. The main reason for this was that we were unable to arrange any collections from our local depot, in the run up to Xmas. We are also under pressure from eBay to minimise our postage charges, and Royal Mail is the cheaper option.
Please note that it will take some time for all references to ParcelForce to disappear from our eBay listings.
I have just upgraded our blogging software, and the new version supports RSS. I do not think that I am going to have the time to produce regular company newsletters, so I suggest that you subscribe to this blog instead.
Welcome to our new company blog. We plan to let it grow organically, and to replace the default theme at a later date.
