Server Options
Users can either manage their own web server, or use our shared server:
- We provide both PHP/MySQL and ASP/SQLServer scripts for users who wish to manage their own web server. Setting this up requires some effort. Users must have their own web site, and have some familiarity with the platform that it runs on. Users pay a license fee for each Android device that they use, and there are about two paid upgrades each year.
- We also run a shared server. Each company that uses this has its own company database, which it manages using a web application. This is a competely cloud based solution, which is very easy to set up. Each company pays a fixed monthly fee for the use of the server, but the Android application is free.
